very tannic. I disagree with the "when to drink by", because this bottle can stand some more aging. Has some fruit in there, any oak described previously has mellowed, but the bitter tannins stand out. This is almost an old world wine with earthiness and muted fruit. I love wines from the Oak Knoll region and I think this wine has a chance. I am going to save the bottle of Gunner's Daughter I have for a few years

Very good, well structured Cab. It is still fairly youthful, with some nice development, and has plenty of life left. A very good value.
