  Beauty & the Beast rolled into one wine. Elegant, smooth, luscious yet bursting at the seams with complexity and flavor. Full bodied, with a smokey, violet and blueberry bouquet. Ever changing palate of dark cherry, plum, blackberry, olive, soy, graphite, meat juice, licorice, black tea, menthol, herbs and more. Super long finish. How does he do it? Perfect now and should be for at least another 5-8 years. Bravo.

  Easily WOTN. First stand out is the nose, with notes of cherries, spice, white pepper, fig, and something floral. Then grilled meat, warm spices like clove or turmeric, dark berry fruits, and much more. Velvety fully resolved tannins, very long and polished finish. We all enjoyed this wonderful wine, an exotic beauty none had drunk previously.

  Wonderful nose with notes of Luxardo cherries, spice, graphite, white pepper, fig, and mineral. Pallete - grilled meat, spice, dark fruit, mineral and some dark fruit. Velvety mouth feel, long and polished finish. We throughly enjoyed beauty. Likely peaked or just last it with a few years before noticeable decline IMHO. Served with rack of lamb on Christmas Eve.

  Delicious dark fruit, minerals, and meat on the nose and evolving palate with a silky smooth texture and long finish.
