  This was a gift and had no idea what to expect. Terrible cork , dried and crumbled even with Durand. However wine was vibrant deep red , even a hint of purple. Nose sores out of glass with blue fruit tightly wound with some leather and spice. Power but balance in the mouth . Blue fruit but secondary notes of warm earth spice and saddle . Really unexpected but delicious.
  I understand this may have been the first vintage of a collaboration.
