  6hr decant. Wow even though 50 years old tasted like it was peaking and much younger. Great cherry fruit and classic barolo forest floor.

  Nebbiolos, white truffles, Volume VI (Chicago, IL): Slightly maderized, though initially this was still drinkable, if not particularly enjoyable. This bottle completely fell apart and became fully oxidized by the end of dinner.
