  • 13.6% alcohol. Lovely wine, although showing some signs of age. Slightly honeyed yellow color, with a touch of oxidized notes in the nose. This has a very tasty palate right now, though. It's not quite as flashy and up-front with its fruit as it was a couple years ago, but the wine has integrated beautifully. There is plenty of apple and pear fruit, along with a touch of something sweeter and almost cloying, like fig or date. Retains solid acidity, with a good finish. Really pleasant -- a rare refreshing Chardonnay.

    B+

  • Color was pale gold showing the youth of the wine. Nose of ripe chardonnay fruit and a bit of integrated vanilla. The palate showedd a medium body, with ricch, ripe fruit, balanced by good acid and a moderate finish. This is a solid, well made and delightful wine.
