This is what I picked from the wines by the glass menu to drink with my traditional Thanksgiving Diner at Garibaldi's in Columbia, SC. I thought at first it was a little short on acid, and possibly a little sweet, which may be the result of the style of food I was tasting with it. It had a very nice golden color, more like a Muscat. Surprisingly rich mouth feel for this varietal. There was gobs of very ripe fruit like melon, pear, and pineapple. They say no malo lactic fermentation was used, but I got little or none of that puckering malic acid on the palate. There was none of that grassy, herbaceous flavor. It really was rounded and easy drinking, I have to admit, they made a very nice choice. I don't think a crisp style Sauvignon Blanc would have worked as well with the dressing and the gravy. The finish on this wine, kind of honeysuckle and pineapple, was very enjoyable with Thanksgiving. I want to try another bottle as a first taste at 5 PM some day.

Pale, clear straw in the glass with a fresh citrus and biscuit nose. Notes of grapefruit and toast, with a crisp, almost effervescent acidity. Short finish. A pleasant surprise.

Straw yellow color, grass and citrus nose, nicely integrated yellow fruit, not too tart. Great value for a summer wine.
