A Few Rieslings; 10/3/2010-10/5/2010: The Juffer Sonnenuhr is a different story from the Helden. Where the Helden was a Fredrick Emile laser beam, the BJS is a precision fired cannonball. Wow is this nice! Certainly tight, this pale yellow wine smells of spent shells, brown earth/fertilizer, and slightly of cured leather. Wow, in the mouth the cannonball broadsides with an explosion of sweet, dry riesling fruit, and sweet natural green and black licorice. Full and the finish lasts forever. Utterly amazing and so good now, when this is fully uncoiled it will be a jaw dropper!
