  Spectacular. Given that it was Egon Müller and an auction GKA, I had the highest expectations and after a little air, this didn't disappoint. A little reticent at first, but after being open about 15 minutes, it unfurls to show a seamless combination of white fruits and ripe apples with mineral, floral, honeyed and gentle vanilla and herbal notes. There's a remarkable sense of harmony and balance here with everything merging into a polished, seamless whole; flavour conveyed with a lightness of touch and tremendous length and presence.
