Translucent burnt garnet. Strawberry, spice, and earth nose. Light to medium bodied, pomegranates, tangy cherries, soft tannins, and a slightly hot medium length finish. Nice flavors though lacking some of the freshness I'd like.
Third bottle within a few days and this one is much better: probably just aged less somehow. Still dark fruits, but still has zinginess to stop it feeling flat with age like the previous two. Good stuff, not great, and very interesting, but won't age any further imo/ Drink up!

Had two bottles in two days and it's losing its poke. It's not as acidic as I previously thought (palate has evolved), and with age these bottles were more cola and almost flabby. dark pinot flavour, but disappointing. There i bottle variation, however, but I think that this will not stand age, and it was an experiment of Kent's that ended up riper and les acidic than he wanted.

Finally popped another bottle of this stuff to celebrate the leap year (2008...get it?). It's not quite as bright or minerally as I remember, but still an incredible, well-refined Pinot. I'm not really sure how much aging it can withstand from here, though (and it may already be on the down-swing), so I'll be drinking - and enjoying - my remaining bottles in the next couple years or so.

Back to fading dark fruit, not enough acidity now. It's ok, but definitely over its peak.
