Maybe should be 95 points. Tasted over a couple of hours with a wine group in a mix of US West Coast reds. This was the standout. Drinking beautifully right now, but don't over decant. After a couple of hours the fruit mellowed a bit at the expense of leaving the tannin, leather, rust of age. Still good, but was better earlier in the evening. I really love this wine. I'd be hard pressed in a blind tasting to pick this as petit syrah. It comes off as a fine Bordeaux. Great value too at the price point.

at rossignol diinner. Great wine. Drank beautifully the Frenchmen present had never had a wine from Durif before and both were amazed. Still drinking beautifully. Fruit, earth, no alcohol.

Classic PS in every way. This bottle was perfectly preserved and the wine still has a long life ahead based on this bottle. Only came alive after a 2+ hour decant, and can't wait to taste what it's like the 2nd day.
