Pauillac epic vintage 2005 Quite classic. Faded black currant and plums with aging notes dominating bouquet, predominantly cedar and graphite. Smooth mouthfeel with a peppery undertone. Dry, Med+ acidity, med- alcohol, medium body, med+ astringency. Well balanced. Delicate and refined tasting experience where the intensity of the primary aromas doesn't overshadow the wood and aging aromas. Long pleasant finish. Seems to have reached it's peak. Drink now (2020)

This wine opened up nicely after being decanted for about 1 hour. I wanted to like it more but it was nice enough.
