The chard that turns you into a chard drinker. This remains an elegant wine by avoiding over toasting and excess malo fermentation which lets the fruit and acid shine.

Nose - lemon vanilla cream, sour apple, and a slight oily odor. On the Palate- very smooth, slight heat at the end, but not too much. Vanilla cream/creme brulee, lemon, again slight petroleum, macintosh apple, slight pear. long finish, maybe over 60 seconds. No oak. A style I enjoy. very food friendly, had with Roasted Salt/pepper Mahi Mahi from Trader Joe's- recipe on package-- I recommend all the above.

(Woodward Canyon Estate Chardonnay Walla Walla Valley) A gorgeous aroma profile redolent with melon, spice, and banana. Beautifully textured on the palate with lively acidity that carries the flavors across the palate to a seemingly endless finish. One of the best Washington State Chardonnays I have had. 100% Chardonnay. Barrel fermented and aged in 1-year-old Burgundy barrels. 14.1% alcohol. 98 cases produced.

Hints of lemon straw and vanilla. Medium body. Slightly tart on the tongue ending with warm lemon. Served with halibut.
