Wow. This kind of elegance and subtlety rarely comes out of the Okanagan - this must be the best hybrid red available anywhere. Unfiltered, medium brick red color. Very restrained, brilliant gamey burgundy notes and some very elegant French oak in the back. Long, supple, perfectly balanced. I'm really impressed. Was perfect with seared duck breast and portobello risotto! To bad I didn't buy more.. Have two of the 2009 though, hope they're as good as this one was.
