This keeps getting better. Gorgeous pure red cherries and strawberry with rose petal, toasted earth and oolong tea. Beautiful sweet palate and nice finish.

What a great sleeper year. Fruit and oak qualities have mellowed in equal measure. Wine still exhibits some tannins. While I do think the vintage can last longer, I see it as matured and any remaining inventory should be enjoyed in the near term.

Day 1, strawberry preserve and red currant, sandalwood, along with a very smokey note that was nice. Still lively on the palate, with good finish. Day two, fruits have darkened and a sweet tobacco note has emerged. Palate is rich but lithe, although a slight bitterness on the finish persists. There is a bit of coarseness in the tannins on this wine that has been consistently present.

Very good. One of the more memorable OR pinots I've tried. Bottle funk that blows off to a earthy forest floor, some spice, with deep red cherry fruit on the backend. Delicious. Should hold for a few years, but maybe close to peak? Clearly from Willamette, but with a nod to the old world. I can only imagine how good this bottling will be in future years when the vines have a bit more age.
