Good color and some nice complexity in the bouquet, but quite tart and dry on the palate, and a bit lean. The wine has enough acidity and structure to hold up for a while, but may not improve.

Drank at Tarbells in Phoenix. Medium weight, nice color, decent fruit, terroir, decent flavor for a reasonably priced Burgundy, great bargain in a restaurant, $48 on wine list, drank with shrimp and others appetizers, would drink again if I could find it.

Looks very thin in the glass, but possesses a rich bouquet. Floral, delicate red berry fruit. Pretty red raspberry and strawberry notes. Good acid to age gracefully. Nice wine!

We decanted the wine for 1.5 hours before we poured the first glass and consumed the bottle over two days. The wine was fresh and a little floral on the nose, with red cherry, herbs, autumn leaves, tobacco and charred wood. On the palate the wine was light- to medium-bodied, seemed a little thin, but was very balanced, with cherry, tobacco, mushrooms and medium-level acidity. It had good length and left a fresh mouthfeel like from mints. The wine was better on day one than on day two.

Cherries, spice box, roses, nice minerality and plenty of power. Drying oak and fruit tannins, not a ton of texture and slightly angular. Good acid.
