From a Double Magnum. Opened, and decanted, for almost an hour before pouring. I had this with 7 other members of my wine group and it took us about 2 hours to finish the bottle. Everyone loved it.

Really nice. Green, kinda leafy nose but pure, silky, and supple on the palate. Incredibly fine tannins for 2003, or for any vintage really. Caressing grand cru texture.

Still alive. Against expectation. Served a lottle chilled. Lots of fruit.

6th Annual NYC Zeta Psi Keens Steakhouse Holiday Dinner (Keens Steakhouse, 72 W. 36th Street, NYC): Popped decanted and poured from a 3L bottle at a holiday dinner. This was a huge favorite. Notes of tart cherry, it was everything I would hope for from a Burgundy. A great balance of fruit, acid, finish and mouthfeel. It went surprisingly well with the Mutton Chop.
