Tasting great right now !! Perfect composite cork after a decade in the bottle. Consumed over two days. As always, this balanced wine showed more fruit on the first day. On day two this wine had softened with increased depth and integrated complexity. Deep ruby color with no oxidation, clarity medium. Aromas of pomegranate and cranberry. Flavors of black cherry, raspberry compote, rhubarb, and black tea. This Pinot Noir has a medium to long finish. A balanced and flavorful Pinot Noir from the very young 3D Vineyard in the Santa Rita Hills planted to Swan, Pommard and 667 clones. The acidity of this wine makes it age worthy and it has many more years of life left. Fortunately, I still have two bottles remaining in my cellar that I will sample soon to validate this tasting note. As always, a great winemaking effort from Greg Brewer.

Burgundy color with a bouquet and flavor of raspberries and cherries with some Burgundy spiciness in the finish. Not a very big wine but still pleasant. No use keeping it cellared. Drink it up.

Good, typical BC fruit and herb combo. Not as complete on the finish as most from those guys. Good plus but no more. (87)
