Tastes like biting into fresh Michigan sour cherries in late July. Would probably pair nicely with duck, but I feel it's past its prime. Very acidic and tart.

Color: rosy yet not filtered and a bit cloudy
Nose: roses, lavender, spices, just a bit of funk
Palate: cranberries, apple, red currant, stems, warm spices, light body, relatively short finish, balanced toward acid
Overall: A surprisingly enjoyable wine albeit light with lots of finesse; a good compliment to food as well as on its own.

Tons of barnyard on this; almost to the point of being a flaw. No rating, as either flawed or not my style.

Barnyard, tobacco, spice, peppers, blueberries. Didn't evolve as much as their older wines do, but still so interesting and delicious

Still young for my tastes, but delicious with distinct old saddle leather and a little tobacco.
