Funky fruit nose, dense somewhat oxidized berry flavour, not at all typical of pinot noir; more of an overwrought rustic style of cabernet sauvignon with a heavy oak finish. A misdirected attempt at a power pinot which has sacrificed elegance for errant exuberance. Disappointing overall, perhaps also due to opening past its prime.

I liked this Okanagan Valley Pinot a bit better than the See Ya. It had a little more depth, nuance, round mouth feel, nice touch of oak, smokey overtones, dark cherry fruit. Altogether a slightly bigger and more structured wine. In terms of style more like a "new European" - not Oregon, Californian or Chilean - If tasted blind I would have guessed German actually. 14% alcohol but you would be hard pressed to taste or feel it. Nice effort. At $22 Canadian hardly a bargain but better than a lot of the local stuff that sells for more.

Clear light ruby in colour. Clean med intensity of red fruit. Dry, med acidity, med body, strawberry, cherry, and some vanilla on back end. med length finish, nice balance. Very nice wine.

PnP no formal notes. First sniff and sip very pleasant. Then fell apart. Very dark for pinot. Overall was like Pinot trying to be cheap cab.
