From 75cl. Good natural cork inadequate to the demands of a radically bad glass bottleneck, tight at the very top but with serious ribbing down to the point where the bottle flare starts. The result - a rippling grey shadow on the side of the cork (unimportant) and a prematurely aged wine (shame). The basic material is great (buttery scent, lemon-mineral mid-palate, rippling finish - as previously noted). Bottles in better condition will surely keep for some years to come, but this juice was a bit over the hill. 88P(?)

Wonderful, multi-layered buttery-white pepper scent, with plenty of freshly planed, dry oak. Still a hint of SO2. Taut, oaky palate, with an amazing grainy texture and long aftertaste. Marvellous wine; true Meursault; a long way to go. 91P(+)

Burgundy in Burgundy - the good, the bad and the truly revolting; 9/13/2010-9/20/2010: Fatter, more buttery scent than the plain AC Meursault. Smooth, round palate with a touch of salt, fun to drink now, but good potential for 1-4 years. 89P(+)
