  • Tasted blind, this wine was one of the many highlights a Murray's Bday dinner. It had a light red center and auburn rims. The high- intensity nose showed sour cherries, brown spices, smoked game, and some anise.

In the mouth, this wine was medium bodied with great balance and length. It was light bodied but imparted tons of flavor. It was a privilege to experience this rare and truly great wine.

While I would argue this wine was probably a little past its peak, it would still blow most competitors right off the table. Drink up and enjoy!
