  Cork is in excellent condition considering the age of the bottle, and shows no degradation or signs of seepage. In the glass the wine is cloudy with a purple core and slight bricking along the edge. Bouquet is distinctly port, highlighted by plum. Palate tastes very young and fresh, with only a hint of the age showing through. More plum with a pleasant sweetness and acidity. I really enjoyed this bottle, although it tasted much younger than I expected.
