I can understand why the winery compares it to a Condrieu. Although not as fine, it does have some similarities in body, richness. I was pleasantly surprised. Lots of oak, green apples. Not too fruity, but very complex. I can't remember all the details, but for 23$, this is the best white i've drank in this price range. Remember, taste is a matter of personal choice. I wouldn't drink this every day though, it's very present. Definitely Rhone style though.

The 2007 was aged in stainless barrels rather than oak, so it is quite different then the 2008. Big rich, thick body. Tar, Leather, very dark overripe cherries, some sour ones too. For the price, of 23, it's awesome. Plus it practically grows in my backyard. Give it a try even if you live in France.

Nez davantage intéressant que la bouche. Quelqu'un a trouvé le «québécois»...
