A port that certainly needs to breathe before being consumed, swirled in the glass. Dark amber color, hugs the sides of glass. Raisin flavor paired with a mild cocoa. Sweetness dulled by the heavy alcohol flavor. Tasted alone and after a dinner, preferred it after the meal and paired with dark chocolate chips. Capped and revisited the bottle a couple times over a week. Stored well, flavor generally unchanged.
Long thin legs, very full on the pallet, with a lingering flavor.

Christmas 2009; 12/24/2009-12/26/2009: So well done. After a year and a half this is wtill a fun and beuatiful dessert component. Dark cocoa powdery chocolate. So nice.

After T-day dinner...with some dark chocolate. How can you not like this? The combo of the Port and the chocolate they blend in makes for a less sweet wine, with some great grip and chalkiness. Terrific to just sip.... very enjoyable.

Verging on greatness, this chocolate infused port is exceptional. The flavors and mouth feel are all cocoa powder-like.

I prefer to have my chocolate and port ingested separately, for the contrast. This was too similar to chocolate milk, with alcohol.
