Ruby tending towards violet at the edges. Cherry and smoky aromas and palate, with a touch of cinnamon on the tongue and a flowery aroma reminiscent of roses. Also some meaty terroir in the palate. As it opens, there is classic pinot funky-gamy quality. A lovely wine, with enough stuffing and length in the finish to stand up to almost any food. Great QPR. Serve at 68 or it can seem a bit alcoholic.

Good earthy smoky nose. Light body. Smooth smoky, cherry and strawberry. Soft mild finish.
