  Popped and poured, natural cork , 1mm penetration , impressive after 23 years
  Colour med garnet, slight browning on edges in line with age 15/15
  Nose med intensity , mature , earth, leather, cigar box tobacco lead, spice; clove liquorice, hint of barnyard- fresh cut hay, chocolate, smoky, blackberry great complexity 29/30
  Palate med to full bodied, mature palate, faded fruit ,leather dusty tannins, velvet mouthfeel39/44
  Overall Mature Cabernet, outside its drinking window by about 5 years. The nose is sensational, just so complex , it would have been a great wine in its day 7/11
