  • Drank while planning our conquest of the December 10 Christie's wine auction. A burgundy in the old style. 13% ABV.

    Color: Red/Rusty Brown

    Nose: Raisins & grapefruit

Palate: Light/medium body, short finish. Tannins mellowed out over the hour, the citrus/acid became more noticeable. No fruit at this point.

This wine is a survivor, not going to get any better - drink up if you have any. We enjoyed it as a time capsule.
