Translucent red. Strawberries, cherries, flowers, toast on the nose. The fruit is all up front, but not sweet. Moderate acidity, medium mouth feel. Savory finish of some tobacco, yellow heirloom tomatoes, tannins fairly well resolved.
This bottle seems more mature than the last one, and that to me is just fine. Compared to the '09 Calera CC that I have been drinking lately, this is much more balanced, dry, nuanced and interesting.

Tight upon opening. Definitely needs time to show its colors.

Nice and unique - spearmint finish predominates. More complex on day 2.

The Mt. Harlan Cuvee is always amazing. I loved the '06 and the '07 does not disappoint. 80% Burgundy, 20% California, amazing winemaking.
