Patience rewarded with this beauty. Captivating aromatics make you want to keep swirling and enjoying. The sour cherry is still predominant but has mellowed and and frames an overall pungency. Drank over two days and only got better. Sooooo glad I have two more in the cellar.

As product of the 2007 Oregon vintage, this wine requires some air and patience. Medium to light garnet, translucent and very pretty. On the nose strawberry, cherry pie, slight funk, clove. It just makes you want to dive in and enjoy. But the palate can be restrained and tart. Some air will reveal rhubarb, clove, with just hints of red berry and a nice mouthfeel. It would be unjust to call the mid palate lacking--more ethereal would better describe it as you chase the fruit flavors and spice from the nose. Within a couple of hours of being open the air helps fill out the texture and mid palate. You never quite get the sweet fruit from the nose but there is just enough fruit, earth and spiciness on the palate and juicy acidity on the finish to make you reach for another sip as you chase that pinot dream. Overall well done in a tough vintage.

Really bad. Wine was essentially vinegar. Tried decanting - no help. Dumped the bottle the next day.

Nothing special. Almost bubbly in nature. Fruite with no substance. Lacked any sophistication. A disappointing bottle.
