Very good. At peak. Medium color. Lots of yellow flowers, lees, minerals, stones and some baking spices. Very round. For my taste these are drink now before too much age sets in and the color is telling you these are in the window.

2/1/21 Jay Tasting: 09 Meursault and Flagey-Echezeaux (Zoom): Wine 2: 2009 Ente Clos des Ambres (my #1, groups #1) CdB nose, sulphur, matchstick, minerals and beautiful oak spice. GC caliber juice. Rich, riper and deeper all around than wine 1. Lithe palate, beautiful balance, not much acid but more complex than wine 1 and ready to go. Spectacular.

4029 bottles produced. Superb reduction, not overly done, white florals, ripe fruit, heat, great harmony. Rich yet nuanced on the palate. Missing a bit complexity. 93-94

Magnum, very light smoky wood and vanilla, very pure chardonnay citrus, a super elegant taste and finish, not with power, but with endless persistence; very delicate.
