  Because it happens to me so rarely, I am always surprised to discover a fully mature Barolo less than 20 years old and was surprised to find this in prime drinking shape with a fully resolved structure. A brief decant. A lot of Nebbiolo red fruits and forest floor. Good length. Maybe a touch hollow in the middle, but overall very easy to drink and quite tasty.

  Deliciously mature with lovely tar and black fruit flavors with a soft, medium-bodied texture. The finish is smooth and dry with lovely notes of smoky minerals and supple tannins. Very clean, classic and drinkable Barolo.
