Consistent with previous bottles, this wine is very light violet in color and has an intense nose of bright cherry, strawberry and spice. The mouth feel brought incredibly vivid acidity, cherry and minerality that was way beyond what I was expecting from this appelation and price point. The finish was very well balanced, with the acidity, soft tannins and fruit all coming together seamlessly.
At $16US, this is an absolutely outstanding qpr. More, please.

Lovely - more going on than you might expect given the price and appellation. More savory than sweet; considerably stonier and less fruity than its new-world peers. Glad I bought a sixer!

Light ruby red with aromas of strawberries and red cherries. It was bright/acidic with a nice level of minerals. The finish clean and fruit fwd.
