  • Slightly watery purple color. A typical French Pinot nose, and a fruit forward palate. Short finish, but not bad for the price.

  • Nose: Some earthiness, almost leather and dark fruit
Taste and mouthfeel: Medium mouthfeel, heavier than a number of pinots that I had. The wine had a earthy (leathery) undertone with the fruit predominately being dark fruit.

  • Part of a blind Pinot Noir tasting. Specifically included as low end Pinot to compare to others. It was thin watery, light red and purple color. Not too much body. The nose varied -- some thought there was ripe red fruit while others noted vegetables and earthiness. With food, the wine developed some fruit and was more balanced -- still a bit of alcohol. It definitely improved over the night with food but had trouble standing up to some of the bolder cheeses. It is a nice every day wine but clearly was the 4th choice out of the 4 wines that were tasted.
