Thursday, May 9, 2024 - The 2019 Cos d'Estournel emerges after only a few minutes in the glass, Falstaffian - jolly and round, brimming with grape preserves, plum, pomegranate, freshened by a graphite mineral edge. As round as this is in the mouth, its acidity maintains an enticing drinkability. I don't think this will take particularly long to drink with pleasure, but its symmetry and stuffing should also allow for a long life. 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, labeled at 13.5% ABV. 95-96 points

For Cos?
