More fresh than could ever be expected from Bourgogne at nearly a decade, this is bright and appley with a faint caramel apple note emerging when finished on the second day.

Light hazy yellow; fresh, astringent, citrus nose, some wet stone, white flowers; refreshing simple taste with white pear fruity aftertaste; simple, refreshing and very nice

Adieu Domaine Dublère Dinner (Monnie Burke's): Served alongside the 2015. Plenty of apple, lemon and lemon peel with bright energy throughout and impressive textures. This might still have some upside, but even now is clearly an excellent Bourgogne.

Subtle floral start with orchard fruit aromas. Similar flavors with some candied lemon peel hints. Very well balanced with a bright finish, and above-average weight for Bourgogne.

Stunning level of quality for a Bourgogne Blanc. Ripe yellow fruits all the way with great underlying acidity. In fact this vineyard is mostly in Meursault - but not entirely, hence it can only be called Bourgogne blanc - but what you get in reality is a little Meursault for the money ;-)

Purchased off the list at Brindille. Terrific aromatics of ripe orchard fruit and minerality. Palate has excellent concentration for a Bourgogne-level wine with taut acidity. Persistent. As usual, punches above its class in terms of complexity and pleasure.

Orchard fruit throughout, some lemon peel on finish. Overall good balance, excellent weight for its level. Excellent value as always. First time tasted since visit to Dublere July 2015.

Domaine Dublere Cellar Visit and Tasting (Savigny-les-Beaune): Barrel tasting at the domaine. Blair was able to double his production to 20 barrels by adding another nearby plot this year. Rich and intense, almost opulent with nice background spice and good structural support. Sensational for its level and price.

Plenty of apple and lemon throughout, some faint earth but still so bright for its age and level. Blair's best vintage ever for this wine.

Very bright lemon and apple with very good weight and length for its level. This will hold well for several more years. Great value wine.
