Wine Spectator Grand Tour (Las Vegas, NV): This deep-to-opaque ruby wine is a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Malbec, 17% Carménère and 6% Petit Verdot, aged in a combination of French oak barriques (90%) and foudres (10%). Of the wine aged in barriques, 70% of the barrels were new. Aromatically expressive of red currant, raspberry and Mandarin orange fruit, it adds accents of savory herbs, coriander seed and graphite. Full-bodied, fresh and without any heat from its 13.5% alcohol, it delivers flavors mirroring the aromas and stays solid on the mid-palate. There is a fair amount of oak, but contextually it is fine, as are the plentiful sweet tannins. Long and energetic at the conclusion, this is an impressive Chilean Bordeaux-styled blend that should show well and evolve over the next decade. Drink now-2034.

WS Grand Tour (Walkaround Tasting) (New Orleans): 93+ but needs some time. Excited to be able to taste this young and in comparison with the Almaviva. This was more rustic in comparison, but in a good way for me, feels authentic. Some funkiness on the nose and possibly reduction. Definitely needs more air than it got before we tried it.. But unmistakable quality fruit underneath—plums, blackberries chocolate, spices and a long finish. One to watch

Walkaround tasting so just short notes: Beautiful wine with dark berries, beautiful oak and cedar, good acidity and round tannin. Some pleasant sweetness and a great length. Elegant and harmonious wine. 95+

Bottle sample tasted before release. Cherry, blackberry, cassis and touch of raspberry. A nice touch of spice with a hint of oak and pencil shavings on the finish. Very precise with great structure and freshness. Lovely, long finish showing different layers of complexity too.
Very impressive with brilliant potential - I am not surprised that the 2021 is considered one of the best ever vintages.

Tar, blackberry, and cassis. Dry, velvety palate. Firm tannins on the longish finish.
This seemed slightly reduced. It was hard to fairly judge. Could be much better.
