Incredibly spice laden and exotic on the nose with rich aromas of cherry and floral notes. The palate is bright and red fruited with ample depth that brings balance to the force. The edges of the wine have the same spice appearance as the nose and bring a brimming complexity to the finish of the fine.

The wine is massive. It’s hard to describe the scope of the material without getting a chance to taste it. I was able to taste it multiple times throughout the night and the amount of fruit and density has the weight of the earth in Atlas’ shoulders. Even with all that fruit there’s a steely drive on the backend that reminds you it’s still a corton Charlemagne and speaks to land it’s from. Everytime I took a sip I picked out something new coming out of the vibrancy of the wine. Fascinating wine with its best years ahead of it.

I know we all talk a lot about what Kagami is doing at Domaine Miroirs and we kinda forget about the fucking king of the mountain is still around. Intensity and energy. Hyperdrive accelerator. Big structured wine with jagged acidity driven texture. It’s a whole mouthful of wine but with energizer bunny going around the walls. Drinking fantastic right now.
