2/4/2020 5:11:00 PM - Nice meeting you today at the Barolo and Barbaresco tasting. Sorry we lost each other on the last wine or two. Keep in touch.

9/23/2019 7:24:00 AM - Sorry my message is confusing. Was trying to indicate I will do the same-send you a note when I open a bottle. I have to stop sipping Château d'Yquem early in the morning. ——As if I could afford that. My pockets are not deep at all. Just finished saving after many months for a three pack of 2018 Chateau Mouton Rothschild. Had the 1959 when I was young-the best red wine of my life. Hopefully will relive that experience to some extent. Will arrive in 2021. Dave And yes “99 = Makes time stop, for the entire bottle” time stops for me as well. Everything around me slips into the background.

9/23/2019 7:05:00 AM - Greetings, First a reminder, if you have the time, to send me a note how the mid-fill or shoulder fill bottles were. If you could do the same that would be appreciated. Question-Do you think it is better to buy half bottles as they may appear to age faster than the 750 format? Also buying some 2015 Château d'Yquem. Any comments on that-size of bottles/when to open or anything else of interest. Dave

7/2/2019 7:05:00 PM - Thanks for the kind comment on Thibault! I really put effort into tasting wine, even when it's brief. Notes on Cellartracker helped me so many times, why not return the favor.

1/25/2019 6:45:00 AM - Thanks Vino. I tried to add more dispersion into my scoring around 89-93. And re consistency, I still struggle, e.g. the 2013 Alessandria Monvigliero I had last night... do I score that a 91 or 92? Or is it false precision?
