Cherry and forest floor on the nose. Silky super fruity yet balanced although initially there were almost cola notes that blew off when tasted a day later. Feels really well put together and classy. Delicious now although will surely improve in bottle. Note written on day 2 once it had opened up.

Screwcap. Lemon yellow in colour showing yellow fruits on the nose (lemon, yellow melon and possibly pineapple!). Medium in body with a luxury slightly viscous and weights and coming over as very pure and crystalline. A little too much Tuscan sunshine showing through for my wife as she found it too sweet. I liked it but wouldn't rush to reload.

The cork was soaked through and crumbly and the middle of the cork came out. I had to pour through a large hole in the cork into a decanter, then used a sieve to decant into a jug, and then back to a decanter. Worked surprisingly well considering I don't have a Butler's Thief.
Really into tertiary strides with mushroom truffle decaying cherries and some soy with lovely acidity and so well balanced. Probably stepped off the summit but the view from the early stages of the descent was still sublime.
No abv stated. I would guess 12% or under. Was quite easy to drink a bottle and feel fresh (as my spouse doesn't really drink reds).
