From the producer's website (and also clearly from the taste) this is a chardonnay dominant blend, but there is no other information available except Brut and Lot TE17D03 on the label.
On the nose there is citrus and a slight herbal note. On the palate: crisp, clean, simple, straightforward, citrus, perhaps some unripe white stone fruit. The finish is clean, crisp and fairly short.
Overall this is a very simple but well balanced champagne, nice and crisp as an aperitif, but no complexity or interest really on the palate. It might be ideal for prosecco drinkers taking their first steps into champagne. Perhaps a little pricey for what it is at the ~US$35 that I paid.

I enjoyed the 2016 and 2017 but somehow missed the intervening vintages. I'm not convinced that this vintage is quite at the same level as those vintages yet. (As an aside it's the first vintage that I've had in a screw-top closure.)
One the nose, slightly sweet citrus and some floral notes. The palate follows. But for me what's seriously lacking is some acidity to balance the fruit and florals. It's not flawed as such, but the whole feel is a touch cloying for me. Perhaps this will get better with time, but perhaps not.
I not sure I'll be buying any more of this is the short term at the ~US$23 that I paid.

NV Faÿ-Berjot Champagne Brut Rosé

No information on the bottle or the website beyond Brut, Lot TR19D11 (perhaps a 2019 base vintage?). Closed with a Mytik Diam cork. The producer's website implies that they sell grapes to bigger houses (Moet, Thienot, Gardet) and the own label wine is made from what's left over.
Interestingly, despite the fancy cork, the effervesence here is very short-lived, and the wine is at best pétillant within maybe 20 minutes of opening.
The initial impression is of a slightly sweet wine, with very little bite. With maybe 30 minutes of air things improve a bit.
Then there is a little sweet red fruit on the nose, perhaps just a slight herbal overtone. The palate has a little acidic bite and some mineral notes on entry, but these fade fast to a rather thin and still slightly sweet mid-palate. And the finish is short and a little cloying.
Overall, this seems to me like a low-end party fizz. It's inoffensive, but has little to commend it to serious wine drinkers. At the ~US$30 that I paid I guess it's just about OK priced for that.
