It’s been 5+ years since I’ve had this wine. Have to say while I still really like it, it hasn’t changed that much (and yes, I reviewed my notes before I wrote that). It hadn’t aged like I thought it would have over the years. Still amazing, wonderful aroma, great strength, balance, texture, and depth. Lovely Wine! I bounced it between 91 & 92 Points, it’s a solid 92 Pointer now. Curious if there’s any more aging, or growth, with it. Don’t think it has a 93 in it for me.

Wow! This is always been one of my favorite wines from Medlock Ames. A solid, well rounded, big, and rich CS! Coravin’d a large glass last night, and then decanted the rest for an hour+ tonight. Better after decanting, but still great with a PnP!

Wow, these tasting reviews ended in mid-2022. I have to say, I think they drank it a tad early. I just opened mine, and it was exceptional. Decanted for about 45 minutes, not much change. It was rich, full, soft, with well-developed tannins, texture, and exceptional balance! I think this may have had another 7–10 years ahead of it without an issue!
My son was in the wine business at the time. I’d never heard of this place, but he said we should go. I’ve learned to listen to him, and so very glad we did. Not an inexpensive wine, even with the industry discount, but still exceptional!
Had it with a reverse sear bone-in 2” thick Tomahawk ribeye steak (that was also awesome!!!).
