  Kleur: Helder robijnrood met een wat bredere rand. Aroma / bouquet: De eerste indruk: zacht zoetig rood fruit, aardbeiencompote,. gemberkoek, verfijnd hout. Voor SQN een iets beperkte complexiteit. Smaak / Afdronk: Geweldig verleidelijke SQN, zoals gebruikelijk. Mondvullend en geconcentreerd, dik-sappig, maar ook in de mond iets minder complexiteit dan waarop ik bij SQN inmiddels reken. Serieus lange, romige afdronk. Algemeen / potentieel: 50 + Kleur: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 11 + Smaak / Afdronk: 16 + Algemeen / potentieel: 8 = 90/100
  
  Colour: Bright ruby red with a somewhat wider edge. Aroma / bouquet: The first impression: soft sweet red fruit, strawberry compote. gingerbread, refined wood. Slightly limited complexity for SQN. Taste / Aftertaste: Wonderfully seductive SQN, as usual. Mouth-filling and concentrated, thick and juicy, but also slightly less complexity in the mouth than I now expect from SQN. Seriously long, creamy finish. General / potential: 50 + Colour: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 11 + Taste / Aftertaste: 16 + General / potential: 8 = 90/100

  Well I was in a cooking mode yesterday and the main course was roasted ducks. I opened this bottle, really fought with a bad cork, and decanted for almost 5 hours. Dark red fruit on the nose. The palate was dark cherry, dark raspberry, a little jam and some hints of currants. The finish was long and full. It was a perfect wine to accompany dinner.

  Double decanted for 2 hrs, deep ruby, black raspberries & blueberries, med/firm tannins, long finish; outstanding, drink or hold

  When opened smells of lavender, eucalyptus and menthol were pronounced but blew off shortly after. Dark berries abound in this hedonistic elixir. In a great spot and drinking well.
