  • Nose: lemon custard biscuit, ricqles, citrus, banana, honeysuckly, butter
Notes: 13% ABV, opened for 40 minutes before serving. Drank vertically with the 2017. This was quite an enjoyable wine and showed plenty of floral aroma. Well integrated and quite a complex and full bodied white. While I've always enjoyed the Marc Colin wines a little more than PYCM I need to say that this bottle was wonderful and was very enjoyable. I sometimes find 2016 whites a bit irregular and sometimes even a little diluted but I think this bottle performed perfectly and is good to consume now after a bit of breathing.

  • The Verticals Tasting at 2023 La Paulée (Eventi Hotel, New York): Light yellow. Pure ripe apple. Bigger and richer than the 2017. Sweeter and more glycerine with a layer of soil on the finish. Excellent quality.

  • Still very youthful but staring to drink well. Exquisite white peach fruit with a suggestion of spearmint. It has great shape and a core of intense fruit. It is a wine of power and grace and has the usual PYCM dry extract carrying the finish.

  • Occasional dinner group: A mixed set.. (@ Bouwkunde, Deventer): Beautiful, somewhat smoky bouquet. On the palate lovely minerals, citrus and beautiful, slightly drying acidity.

    Tom kjeller, men stor nytelse.
