Popped and poured. Aromas of black cherry, cocoa powder, spice and toasted oak. Black fruit, cocoa, toasted oak, spice and ripe tannins on the palate. Finishes dry with good persistence. Medium to full bodied. A good QPR. Served with beef burritos.

This is a great introductory Toro for the price. The nose is plum and black cherry and you can smell the acidity coming. On the full bodied palate is mocha, prune, blackberry and intense black pepper with some strong tannins and great acidity that keeps things fresh. That said, there’s a lot of heat from the alcohol that can feel off balance. The finish is medium length. Good QPR.

This wine is clear with no evidence of fault. The color is a deep purple, with an almost black core. The nose is light and composed of charcoal, blackberries, under-ripe cherries, and just a hint of baking spices. The palate is astringent and lacking in structure with no distinctive character. This wine's acidity is high, the tannins are high, the finish is medium-, and the body is medium-. Overall, this wine is of poor quality.

Nice value wine. Dark black fruit with grippy dry tannins. Not heavy more mid weight. Pairs well with spicy grilled meats. Drink over next 5yrs. Boom
