Plum, red cherries, black raspberries, a touch of prune, blackberries, and earth on the nose. Cranberries, red cherries, plums, earth, herbs, and a hint of wood on the palate. Mouthwatering acidity, fine tannins, medium finish. Overall, a very solid barbera that worked great with dinner.

Nice clean ruby, medium bodied, right amount of acidity that helps mouth watering. Succulent red fruits like raspberries, cherries and a little strawberries, combined with a slight touch of wood components. good balanced mid palate. Very enjoyable with foods and on its own. Up to 91/100.

A study in acidity, lots of vinous notes behind the acid. Nicely developed and supple, great with a pot roast. Barbera has always been my favorite, made my first in 1975 and thought I had figured out winemaking. Many vintages have passed and I still find it a challenge.
