81% Sauv Blanc, 19% Semillon..8 months Sur Lies - 74% Stainless Steel, 26% French Oak, 14% New Oak...13.1 alc. DIAM 30...from the Tank House Vineyard. Bright straw, with some green tinge color...wonderful creamy richness with ample orchard fruits, casaba melon...yet TARTED up with lemon/lime squeeze, grapefruit twang, some tropical coconut oil...nice salty crushed minerality, flint strike...little disjointed with a bite of jalapeno...very pretty peach blossom florals. I really like the weight in this...more of a contemplator than a refresher...not terribly complex, but works well at this price point. Historic Winery adds points for emotion, and a cool label too! I like this a lot!

You seem to drink a lot of the Cali cabs I like especially WH Lane of which I was a member for a while. I really liked the 2001, which stayed great for so many years. Envious of your older bottles! Heading to Bordeaux soon for the 1st time. Getting to some great 100 pt Chateaus with a Napa winemaker. Friend up if you like...cheers! Mark
