Nose: cinnamon, caramel, toast, vanilla, green apple, brioche Notes: Disgorged May 2023 with 5.8 g/l dosage, a marginal case of extra-brut. Quite balanced with good intensity, I feel this is probably feeling closer to a brut than extra-brut. Very interesting cinnamon nose and some good minerality here it's been quite an enjoyable drink. Still super young and we need to wait for some more years to enjoy this. The maker has this particular series with three top cuvees representing different villages and out of the three I think Mesnil would be my preferred one. This could safely age for at least another 5-6 years before approaching the right drinking window. Drink: 2030+ Rating: 91
