The already highly praised 2016 vintage and some older bottles.

  • 1970 Graham Porto Vintage - Portugal, Douro, Porto
From a Tappit Hen (2,1 L), showing a very light colour with a brownish glow. In the taste I found raisins, soft spices and minerals. The alcohol is mostly packed in the body of the wine; a refined and good balance.
This is not a blockbuster, but the elegance compensates a lot. (94 pts.)

It is not a daily habit to taste the Graham 1970 Vintage Port from a Tappit Hen (a 2,1 L bottle), or the 2007 Dow from magnum. The overview of the 2016 Symington Vintage Ports showed a great consistency. It was a super experience.
