Covid-19 Sheltered in Northern Illinois

  Dark fruit, youthful still has time to develop. (92 pts.)

• 2013 Lail Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc Georgia - USA, California, Napa Valley, Yountville (3/17/2020)
  From a rare haven’t seen 1/2 btls. Beautiful mature nose, minimal grasses, delicious. (92 pts.)

• 1994 Erath Pinot Noir Twenty-Fifth Anniversary Erath Vineyards - USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley (3/18/2020)
  Simply perfect. Aged beautifully and was a big surprised. Barnyard, quite Burgundian, long finish, hell yeah, wished I had more. (94 pts.)

• 2002 Kongsgaard Syrah Hudson Vineyard - USA, California, Napa Valley (3/19/2020)
  Deep color, concentrated berries. Drank 1/2 of the btl and then finished it. Good palate feel and finish. Noticeable alcohol. (93 pts.)

• 1990 Diamond Creek Cabernet Sauvignon Lake - USA, California, Napa Valley, Diamond Mountain (3/20/2020)
  Beautiful color, some funk on the nose and a sharper finish than what I would have expected. Great btl during these trying times. (93 pts.)
