| - N.V. Cave de Turckheim Crémant d'Alsace - France, Alsace, Crémant d'Alsace
Light, somewhat floral fizz. Decent stuff at £12 from Waitrose.
- 2012 Moët & Chandon Champagne Grand Vintage - France, Champagne
Seems super consistent - just keeping to its line. A little bit toasty, a little bit of brioche.
- N.V. Jean Lallement Champagne Grand Cru Cuvée Réserve - France, Champagne, Champagne Grand Cru
From mag - delicious. Started off a little tight, whiff of synthetic parmesan but that lifted. At the oxidative end but not "challenging" - went down nicely.
- 2019 Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey Chardonnay Bourgogne - France, Burgundy, Bourgogne
Lovely, nicely balanced but perhaps a little flabbier than other vintages I've had.
- 2009 Domaine Fourrier Gevrey-Chambertin Vieille Vigne - France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Gevrey-Chambertin
Third or fourth experience with this wine. Just lovely - thrilling core to it, some red fruits, just starting to show some evolution.
- 2019 Francois Feuillet Morey St. Denis - France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Morey St. Denis
Drunk from half. Lovely fruit, easy to drink but after a glass it became a bit much. Will leave it a while to settle down before the next half.
